Augmented Reality with Occlusion by Using Google Tango, CurvSurf FindSurface, Unity. Tango provides FindSurface with point cloud & device motion. FindSurface determines the position & size of gym ball. Virtual objects are moving around the real gym ball with occlusion. A possible game application will be a kind of World War! 2~3 persons play around a gym ball. Surface battle machines, airplanes, missiles, radar, etc. can be included. Radar item provides a view of the other side of gym ball. Sphere fitting determines the position and size of real gym ball with occlusion. - Virtual airplane and cars rotate around the real gym ball - Virtual objects can be put onto. Google Tango, CurvSurf FindSurface, Unity. Tango provides FindSurface with point cloud & device motion. FindSurface determines the position & size of gym ball. For each video frame that is rendered first as background without z-buffering, the virtual sphere (of the gym ball) is rendered transparently with z-buffering & back-face culling.
